The America’s Cup Healthy Ocean Project, with Dr. Earle as global ambassador, is continuing to gain momentum as the World Series races make their way around the globe. Currently racing is underway in the spectacular venue of Venice, Italy, and partners IUCN and Sailors for the Sea are there to share the mission of the Healthy Ocean Project with thousands of spectators attending the races.

On the local front in San Francisco, partners are gearing up for World Series events in August and October of this year – which is right around the corner!  Ocean conservation initiatives at the core of the campaign are MPAs, sustainable seafood, and marine debris and plastics.  Through education and outreach with our local and global partners, we hope to inspire the millions of people who will watch the America’s Cup events to take care of the ocean that takes care of us.
